The client is a mid-sized accountancy firm based in the South of England with multiple-offices. The firm were looking for marketing support who would be able to work closely with them, managing the complete marketing function to help them grow and meet ambitious growth targets.

We were contacted by one of the firm’s Directors and arranged a Marketing MOT meeting. During the meeting we discussed the current marketing strategy, business objectives and future targets. Being an SME, a primary goal for the business was to increase awareness of their offering across the multiple marketplaces they operate in. Key to this would be repositioning the business and moving away from a reliance on one individual within it.

  • An increase in average click thru rate from 12% to 22% and open rate from 10% to an average of 29% from email marketing over a three month period.
  • An increased presence in the local community by attending, sponsoring and promoting local events. Also increasing online presence by introducing social media platforms, engaging with target audience and expanding awareness.
  • A more polished logo and brand image which were consequently replicated through all aspects of marketing, resulting in an improvement in local image, more awareness, and local adverts no longer defaced.
  • More relevant content including blogs, tips, local community information, recipes and photos from local events posted to the website resulting in an increase in website traffic. Unique monthly visitors increased from 180 to 1474 over a 10 month period.
